In his technical session at the AIxIA – AI Conference 2022 our colleague Pascal Fecht talks about “Few Shot, One Shot, & Zero-Shot Learning“. Those are different methods of ML which use less data than usual ML methods to build AI models. There are several advantages to these, such as cost-effectiveness or lower environmental impact. Pascal will guide through the theory of prompting and show its usage in an example for sentiment.
Pascal Fecht is a software engineer from Karlsruhe passionate about AI, NLP and software development. After studying Computer Science and Media at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and the Media University Stuttgart, he joined inovex GmbH in 2016 – first as a working student, nowadays as a data scientist and software developer working in different NLP projects and supervising a student team that investigates topics such as few-shot learning and prompt engineering.
The topic this year for the fourth Artificial Intelligence meets Intelligence Artificielle (AIxIA) Conference is “From No-Code Machine Learning to Artificial General Intelligence“ – one can discover the latest AI trends, get exclusive impulses and network with AI experts.
