Increasing digitization means that target customers can be addressed at almost every point in their customer journey. However, the exact path taken by users to their final purchase (the customer journey itself), as well as the purchasing motivation, is often only incompletely understood – when it’s understood at all.
Intelligent technologies can help make target group behaviour during the customer journey more visible. The field of Behavioural Economics focuses on the factors influencing customers’ business decisions and provides an opportunity to better identify and optimise them.
The interplay of these methods is presented by elaboratum and inovex in their webinar. Behavioural Economics explores the customer’s mental processes, while intelligent technology coupled with artificial intelligence methods opens up previously inaccessible interactions and enables adaptive reactions.
elaboratum’s Dr Eric Eller is an expert in Behavioural Economics and a co-developer of the PsyConversion methodology. Dr Dominik Benz is head of Machine Learning Engineering at inovex GmbH and an expert in the development of intelligent data platforms. In their presentation, which is based on a real-life customer journey, these two experts will explain their analysis approach from both perspectives and back up their findings with practical examples from customer projects.
