inovex to Support Inno{Hacks} Hackathon in Karlsruhe

Innovative idea and technology contest to be held from 30.09.17 to 01.10.2017 at Karlshochschule university

(Karlsruhe, 08.09.2017) The Inno{Hacks} hackathon will take place from 30.09.17 to 01.10.2017 at the Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe. Inno{Hacks} is hosted by the Hackerstolz e. V. association and sponsored by inovex.

The Inno{Hacks} events are hackathon-style contests in which innovation and technology enthusiasts pit their ideas and innovations against each other. Participants will collaborate in teams of 2 to 5 members to develop innovative and useful ideas and implement them immediately in initial prototypes. Whether apps, websites or solutions for the IoT, social networks, productivity or art, no restrictions are placed on participants’ creativity. The hackathon is geared towards IT developers, designers and other innovators with a passion for technology and prototyping.

Around 120 participants will have 24 hours to come up with an idea and to design and develop their product. At the end, the participants will have just a few minutes to present their inventions to the judges, who will determine the winning team. There are three categories: technology, UX and social.

inovex is providing both staff and financial resources for the project, with Jann Schulz-Kuhnt, Web developer at inovex, acting as the teams’ mentor during the hackathon.
