One of the most popular libraries in this environment is React, which is also used to implement major sites like Facebook.

This course teaches the basics of modern web development using JavaScript, TypeScript and React. It is aimed at developers with basic skills in JavaScript and client-side web development.

In addition to the basic concepts of the React library (reactive programming), the course also discusses patterns of application architecture. These are required when implementing real, complex web applications in order to facilitate maintenance and ensure software quality.

All content is described in both theory and practice. In order to follow the numerous examples and exercises, therefore, participants will need to bring their own laptops with browsers installed.

Instructors: 

Johannes Reuter is a web developer who has worked at inovex since the beginning of 2017. He deals primarily with single page web applications which leverage the widely varied capabilities of today’s browsers in order to create state-of-the-art user experiences using the latest technologies like ECMAScript 6 and 7, Service Workers, React and Angular.

Robert Seibert is also a web developer and has been with inovex since mid-2016. He focuses on implementing state-of-the-art web applications with particular emphasis on user-centric design and digital quality. Technologies like Angular and React, as well as current toolchains, are naturally, therefore, part of his skill set.
