Women in Tech e. V.
Women in Tech e.V. is a cross-industry, non-profit association dedicated to inspiring women to pursue technical professions, empowering them, and increasing their visibility within the field.
Currently, women are still significantly underrepresented in technical courses of study and professions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (with only about 20 percent). Women in Tech e.V. is determined to change this and contribute to a more equal and diverse society by particularly motivating girls and women to pursue technical careers.
To achieve this, Women in Tech e.V. hosts both digital and local events, highlights influential role models, and fosters a strong, diverse network of companies, educational institutions, and other organizations. In collaboration with partners like inovex, Women in Tech e.V. provides mentorship programs, job postings, career coaching, and a host of other resources. inovex actively supports the association and its initiatives as a dedicated member.

In the #SpeakUp event series by Women in Tech e.V., women in technical professions take the spotlight. On June 16, 2021, our colleague Anna-Lena Popkes shared her experiences as a career changer in the tech industry and presented her project in the field of promoting young talent, titled “KI macht Schule”.
