Symposium „Agentic AI – Entering the Physical World“

International Department of the KIT

Instructions of use.“ dabei ist.

Abstract:
Modern agentic applications are built from two materials: classical software, and a new „natural language as software“ we call Promptware. But how do we actually work with promptware? How do we ensure safety, reliability and optimize performance once agentic applications enter the production value chain? This talk borrows from two older disciplines — machine-learning experimentation and software-engineering testing — to put up at least some resistance against the inherent non-determinism of LLMs. And beyond the theory, it gets concrete: what today’s frameworks already give you, how you’d build your own when they fall short, and the features you can’t do without.
