The “Kupferhütte” is one of 20 partially protected buildings of a former wire producer who have been gradually reused and renovated. Today the site offers a diverse mixture of office, commercial, service and production areas, but also a wide range of gastronomy and culture. In doing so, care was taken to supplement the historic building structure with modern buildings and reconstructions in such a way that the charm of the industrial architecture has been preserved. We are currently expanding our office to create space for additional jobs.
The bright and spacious office has both community workplaces (including soundproofing, of course), as well as classic single offices and teamspaces for brainstorming and workshops. All workstations and meeting rooms are technically ‘state of the art’ equipped. For a few months, our new colleague Pepper has been at home here, and recently NAO has also moved in …
A lounge area for working out is adjacent to the kitchen, which is equipped with several refrigerators, a high-performance coffee machine and always with free drinks.
The large terrace directly in front of the building is not only used during summer intensively for the barbecue. Not for nothing, the Cologne site itself describes itself as ‘most grilling office’ … 😉
From the Carlswerk grounds important points of the Cologne economic life such as the ‘Koelnmesse’ or the RTL headquarters are very quickly accessible. Cologne’s main railway station and the old town on the other side of the Rhine are well connected by public transport (bus, underground and suburban train). And to Cologne-Bonn Airport you do not need more than 20 to 30 minutes during the main traffic times.
By the way: All our locations (except Stuttgart) have charging stations for electric vehicles (type 2 plug with 32A).
